I am responsible for leading Rise on our sustainability journey to seek to reduce our impact on the environment through the Investors in the Environment accreditation, ensuring we implement green practices in all aspects of the business and identify areas of continuous improvement through our Sustainability Action Plan.
I also support community organisations, grassroots sports clubs and volunteers across the region, in conjunction with the Sport England Every Move strategy, to ensure environmental sustainability can be embedded through the development of action plans and bespoke support.
