Some more traditional uniforms prevent free and easy movement for children and can have a greater detrimental impact on girls. Dressing children for an active childhood will help them concentrate better, and move more, making them happier and healthier.
What does it look like?
Active uniforms consist of t-shirts or polo shirts, joggers, leggings and shorts, a jumper and black trainers. Rise advocate for non-branded uniforms that can be purchased from a wide range of places including supermarkets. An active uniform should be inclusive, comfortable and affordable.
