The Women’s Wellbeing Project was a partnership between Rise, voluntary organisation Women’s Health in South Tyneside (WHiST) and South Tyneside Council.
Our Key Worker provided holistic one-to-one support for women to improve their health and wellbeing through a range of activities and support with the aim to improve physical and mental wellbeing so women could start to contemplate employment. Alongside the 1:1 support WHiST offered engagement activities which focused on improving physical and mental well-being, raising confidence and self-esteem, communication and life skills.
The Women’s Wellbeing Project was supported by South Tyneside Council and has received funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
